Pornsak Pichetshote's "Infidel"
Thursday Jul 18, 2019
Thursday Jul 18, 2019
Marci and Ako are back with another episode in their Summer Short Series! This week, they’ll be discussing Pornsak Pichetshote’s horror comic, "Infidel".
Picture this--a warm summer night, a smoldering campfire, Marci, Ako, and a mutual friend sitting around a campfire. The friend clicks on her flashlight app and places her phone just below her chin lighting up her face in a very spooky fashion. She lowers her voice and asks the two “has anyone ever heard of the racist ghosts that they say haunts apartments in New York Cit--wait where are y’all going?!” Ako, much to her chagrin, found herself suddenly and ANNOYINGLY abducted by extraterrestrials and Marci, well Marci had immediately called one of any dozen ride-share services and headed back towards town, the ancestors did not get him this far just to get haunted by a ghost story!
Plot Summary: 11:30 - 39:34
Discussion: 39:24 - 1:12:24
